Fractal Reverb

Our Fractal Reverb unit is built on an original algorithm using pure digital delay without the resonance of comb filters.

The user can select between 16 and 256 high speed delays lines with non-linear time spacing to recreate complex room acoustics and bright, resonance-free reverb.

Separate controls are provided for shape, attack, sustain and release times in the main bank, as well as seconds and beats of delay for two stereo echo channels.

Each of the 256 delay lines contain its own filter with time graded cutoff frequency, and its own chorus unit.

Chorus units are controlled by 16 independent sub-oscillators which can be used to create both subtle and orchestral room acoustics without altering the dry signal.

Newtonian Mechanical Filter

This filter can not be found in any other plugin on the market.

The algorithm is one of our own design and is not based on the standard biquad topology or any other standard FIR or IIR filter. is a true zero delay filter having no feedback leg. The algorithm is based on the differential equations governing the motion of air molecules. The frequency response is similar to the Massberg filter in that it completely throttles open at high frequencies without being pinned to the Nyquist, except that because the filter is not implemented using feedback there is no phase delay.

The time domain response of this filter is so fast that we actually inject a 16 sample smoothing function to soften any envelope edges applied to the filter's cutoff frequency. The smoothing function can be changed or disabled in the settings menu.
